Kim Kardashian ‘Doing Everything Possible To Save’ Marriage: Divorce Would Be ‘Hard’ On The Kids

Kim Kardashian 'just hasn't wanted to give up' when it comes to her marriage with Kanye West and she's been 'trying to hold it all together' even though they've 'been having trouble'.

Kim Kardashian, 40, is not letting her marriage with Kanye West, 43, go without a fight. The Keeping Up with the Kardashians star and the rapper have had numerous ups and downs in their relationship throughout 2020, and even though she’s reportedly asked him for some “space to figure out their future”, she’s doing what she can to prevent a divorce.

“Kim’s been doing everything possible to save her marriage, they’ve been having trouble, as everyone knows, but she just hasn’t wanted to give up,” a source EXCLUSIVELY told HollywoodLife. “They’ve been doing counseling, but they’ve really been spending very little time together. They pretty much just come together for the kids now.”

Kim and Kanye, who married in 2014, share four children together, including North, 7, Saint, 5, Chicago, 2, and Psalm, 1, and the doting mom doesn’t want her troubles with their dad to have a negative effect on them. “It’s been very hard on Kim trying to hold it all together, because more than anything she never wanted her kids to have to go through a divorce,” the source continued. “She still doesn’t want that, it’s very hard for her to accept. But, if she does in fact go ahead and file for divorce the one thing she won’t do is put her kids in the middle.” “She loves the relationship they have with Kanye and will always work to encourage and support that,” the insider added. “Her number one concern is their well-being and no matter what that won’t change.”

A second source explained that Kim doesn’t want to have “regrets” and is “researching her options” before she decides what to do ultimately. “Kim’s focus is now on what’s best for her kids, plain and simple. She would never want to look back one day with any regrets and wants to ensure that she feels confident she’s doing everything in her power to save this marriage even if her heart isn’t in it right now,” the second source EXCLUSIVELY shared with us. “Kim feels stuck between a rock and a hard place but she’s been researching her options. At the end of the day, Kim will ultimately follow her gut like she always has, and it’s never steered her wrong.”
