SMG Acquires Premier Food Services

SAN DIEGO (CelebrityAccess) — Facilities management company SMG has announced the acquisition of the catering/restaurant management firm Premier Food Services.

The acquisition, according to SMG will help them to strengthen their own in-house food service division Savor, as well as broaden their customer base, particularly with key venues in the San Diego market.

Premier’s client list include venues such as the Del Mar Fairgrounds and Racetrack, The Ida and Cecil Green Faculty Club at the University of California San Diego, as well as, dining services at businesses and educational institutions in the San Diego region.

The deal also includes Premier's established speciality catering operation Carriage Trade Catering, which services clients such as the La Jolla Playhouse, San Diego Opera, San Diego Repertory Theatre, San Diego Symphony, and the UCSD Music Department.
