Who doesn't love their birthday? It's a whole special celebration just for you—or so you'd like to think. In reality, many other people were born on the same day as you. And some birthdays (and birth months) are much more common than you'd expect. Using the most recent decade-long data from the Social Security Administration and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC)'s National Center for Health Statistics, the career research company Zippia created a heat map of the most popular birthdays. It turns out that, on average, more babies were born in September than any other month. (The holidays, which are nine months prior, must be a busy time for couples!) To find out which exact date of birth is the most common and how many people share your birthday, read on. And if you were born before the new millennium, you'll likely recognize these Photos That Kids Born After 2000 Will Never Understand.
